Dr. Richard Zechini
Dr. Richard Zechini has been proudly serving the Lynchburg area as an orthodontist since 1968. He was born and raised in Lynchburg, attending Holy Cross, Lynchburg College, and the Medical College of Virginia. After completion of his dental training, he served our country in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps. He has lectured extensively to various dental groups over the years and has also served as a visiting speaker at the Medical College of Virginia. To help serve the orthodontic needs of our surrounding areas, he set up satellite offices in Bedford, Keysville, and Farmville. He currently serves as a part time assistant professor for MCV. In addition to helping tens of thousands of people change their smiles, Dr. Zechini spent his career helping local schools, churches, and organizations with countless projects. Who knows how many dollars must have been raised as patients tried to knock him off his perch in fund-raising dunking booths. He is a father to two sons and has three grandchildren to keep him busy. When spending time with his family, you can usually find him somewhere outdoors, probably enjoying his farm. |
