Colby Allen
I recently began working at Orthodontic Arts in the sterilization and lab areas. My mother, Libby, also works at the office. I became interested in dentistry because of watching my mom throughout her career as a dental assistant. I enjoy helping the clinical staff and learning all that I can about orthodontics.

Alice Bailey
I started working for Dr. Zechini on December 1st, 1980, running the business office and front desk. After taking a break from work to care for my family, I returned after my husband passed away. I love working and especially the work I do. I have two children, a son and daughter, and seven grandchildren, the youngest of which are twins. I love spending time with the grandchildren very much. I also enjoy helping my church, reading, walking, watching good movies, and cross stitching in my spare time.

Kathy Bauer
I have worked as a front desk receptionist since December of 2003. The best part of my job is to see the smiles and self confidence grow in our patients as they progress through their treatment. I am married to a wonderful, supportive husband. We have four beautiful children and nine grandchildren. I am a member of our church choir. I enjoy gardening, camping, fishing, and especially spending time with family and friends.

I starting working as a chairside assistant for Dr. Zechini in 1980 and now enjoy my position as a member of the front desk team. I am mother and friend to one very special son, Rocky. I really enjoy spending time at the beach and try to get away to the North Carolina shores whenever I can. I have a warm place in my heart for animals and have many furry friends at home.

I worked for Walt Disney World for thirteen and a half years, and got married in 1987 to a fellow Mouseketeer, Gary. We moved to Lynchburg in 1997 with our two sons, Garrett and Kyle, in tow. I began working at Orthodontic Arts in April 2007 as a front desk associate. I enjoy watching my sons in their extracurricular activities and rooting for the Hokies.

Libby Norcutt
I’ve worked at Orthodontic Arts since 2003 after spending a number of years as an assistant in general dentistry. My job is very rewarding as I get to know our patients, watch them grow, and help them attain their beautiful smiles. After years in dentistry I still love it! I am also a mother of two. I have a handsome son D.P., and a beautiful daughter, Colby. They are the light of my life. In my spare time I enjoy riding motorcycles and canoeing with my family.

Jenna Parson
I have been working in the orthodontic field since 2002. I was introduced to orthodontics when I had braces of my own. After my treatment was over, I began working for that same orthodontist. I started out working in the sterilization center and was eventually trained to work with patients as a chairside assistant and fell in love with it. I recently moved to Lynchburg from Waynesboro. I love working with the patients here and enjoy the team I am now part of at Orthodontic Arts.

Sonya Prillaman
I met Dr. Prillaman when we were both students at the University of Virginia, and we got married a few years later. I worked in the human resources field for the Federal government and in private industry before taking time off when we had our two daughters. Now that our girls are in school, I enjoy working at Orthodontic Arts performing various administrative tasks. When I’m not busy doing things with our daughters, Emma and Phoebe, I am very involved in activities at our church and enjoy scrapbooking, sewing, reading, and doing Bible studies.

Alisha Sutphin
I started working at Orthodontic Arts in March 2007. I have always worked within a busy medical environment and enjoy working directly with patients. It is truly a rewarding experience to work in such a caring setting that has so many wonderful patients. I am also a proud mother of a gorgeous daughter named Mena. She is my bright shining “Starr” that keeps me busy with photography, scrapbooking, hiking on nature trails, and creating great memories.

Susan Taylor
I have worked in the dental field as an assistant in this area for over 10 years. I joined our team in 2001. I have also worked as a hairstylist for the last 25 years. I really enjoy working with people making them look good from the shoulders up! There is nothing better than to see the glowing smiles on their faces when making people look so good. I am a mother of one beautiful daughter and love spending my time with her, family and friends.

Shavonne Wright
I have been an orthodontic chairside assistant with the practice since 1999. I enjoy meeting new people and changing people’s smiles. It is especially rewarding to see the patients’ faces light up when they get their braces off knowing that I had a part in such a life changing experience. I am proud to be a member of this team because I feel we excel in offering the best orthodontic treatment and technology along with a well trained staff. I have lived in Lynchburg all of my life, and I really like the area. When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones. I also enjoy quiet evenings at home, shopping, and I love dining out.
